Joe Shaker has spent virtually all of his adult life in the automotive business after becoming a dealer/principal at just 24-years-old. Since then, he has expanded the Shaker Auto Group to seven thriving locations across New England. In recognition of his business and community leadership, he was honored with the 2022 Massachusetts Dealer of the Year Award and was a nominee for Time Magazine’s National Dealer of the Year.

Over the course of his career, Joe has served on multiple OEM advisory boards, including Ford Motor Credit Company and Mazda North American Operations, while also founding or investing in many technology companies. Looking to protect and improve the dealer/customer relationship, Joe used his depth of knowledge and experience to co-found TruVideo, an AI-powered video intelligence engine. TruVideo technology now powers the majority of automotive industry software, currently delivering 6 million individual experiences each month. When he’s not thinking about how to improve the automotive business, Joe lends his time and resources to causes focused on improving the lives of urban youth and finding cures for all types of cancer. Joe graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science. He lives in Needham, MA, with his wife, Susan, and enjoys playing golf, basketball, traveling, and spending time with his three children.
